He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Imsande and Ruth Imsande; his brother Duane Imsande; his son David Imsande; his granddaughter Angela Tompkins; his daughter-in-law Kelly Imsande; and his in-laws, Dorothy and Alvin Lindberg.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice Imsande; and his children, Louella Johnson (Tom), Leanne Mickley, Lauri Cogger (Bob) and Doug Imsande (Michelle). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
