He is survived by: his wife Dawn Marie Gierke; his sons, Ryan, Mikey and John John (Victoria); his grandson John; and his siblings, Tom (Sherrie), Mark (Lisa), Kevin (Donna) and Maureen Sneep (Mark). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“Dawn, boys and siblings, we are just two of the many lives John Pat has touched during his life. We wish you peace and comfort as you grieve. Earlier in our lives, I considered John Pat one of my best friends. There are many memories; parties, Midway Chev, Porky’s, cruising University Ave and “the loop” with “the boys” are permanently etched in my mind. These recollections will always bring me a smile.
