She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil; her parents, Joseph Hertenstein and Mary Hertenstein; her sister Marcia; and her grandson Anthony.

She is survived by: her sons, Dwayne (Sandra), Keith (Kathy) and Gene (Sandy); her grandchildren, Darren, Colleen (Glenn), Andrea (Richard), Matthew (Karen), Ryan (Raquel), Andrew and Joshua (Alexa); her great grandchildren, Conner, Olivia, Isabella, Jordyn, Brooklyn and Sammi; and her siblings, Betty, Ruby and Joseph Jr..

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
