He is survived by: his grandparents, Jim Benolkin and Marilyn Benolkin; his aunt Sharon Williamson; his parents, Patricia Halsten (Jeff) and Wayne Schafer (Jill); his sister Angela Lawson (Evan); his niece Rose Lawson; and his grandparents, Don Schafer and Rose Schafer. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
