Robert J. Cebulla Obituary
Robert "Bob" J. Cebulla, age 93 of Lindstrom passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Lindstrom Assisted Living.
Bob was born on March 6, 1931 in Duluth to parents, Paul and Pauline (Wiersgallla) Cebulla. He attended and graduated from St. John's Preparatory School in Collegeville in 1949. He went onto work as a conductor with the Great Northern Railroad and later with Burlington Northern where he retired after working 40 years with the railroad. Bob married Patricia Pollock in 1955 and she passed away in 1969. Bob later married Anna Leland. He loved gardening, traveling and was a history buff.
Bob is survived by his wife, Anna; son, Patrick; brother, Thomas (Joan) Cebulla; sisters, Ann Cebulla and Eleanor (Brooks) Naffziger as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia; son, Paul in 2001; brothers, Alvis, Allan, Jackie and Clarence; sisters, Dorothy and Barbara.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom with a visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Family interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth at a later date.
