He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sr. Strecker and Amanda Strecker; his siblings, Ernest Strecker Jr. and Joan; and his brother-in-law David Zettervall.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Haase; his children, Deborah Nelson (David) of Mankato, Michael (Tracy) of Apopka, Jeffrey of Hugo and Thomas of Lindstrom; his grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony Nelson, Nicole, Zachary Strecker and Adam Strecker; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Haase and Margaret Strecker. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
