Vernita Kennen wrote a sympathy message

“I was saddened to learn of Gerald's death (but grateful to others from the old neighborhood who let me know) and want to send my sympathy to Joyce and David as well as the rest of Gerald's family. I know Gerald had a long time when he would have wanted to feel better and be able to do things like he used to do, so hopefully he is now at peace. Wish we could be there to celebrate his life but we will be away then. Vernita (Drum) and Dale Kennen”
