He is survived by: his mother Sandra Mitthun; his sister Shirley Utech (Edward); his son Jeremy Martin Mitthun; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Smith and Brandy Smith; his nieces and nephews, Lenny Salo (Lindsay Shille), Onnie Salo, Denise Utech Pratt (Marcus) and Minda Kay Schleicher (Bobby); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Matthew, Luke, Mark Schleicher, Ayden, Onnie Salo, Nathan, Noah Salo, Brayden Shille, Alex Utech, Carley Crowell and Amanda Utech. He is also survived by his family, nieces, nephews and friends.
