We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021, at the age of 89, Corinne Pahklamets of Lindstrom, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ekegren and Clara Ekegren (Almquist); her spouse Kalju Pahklamets; and her siblings, Harriet Johnson, Donald Ekegren and DeLores Ecklund.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Jeff Ekegren (Julie), Kent Ecklund (Yvonne), Sherry Ekegren, Kim Salmela (Alan) and Christina Ekegren; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eryn, Ryan, Jesse, Jennifer, Alicia, Cheri, Caitlin, Rebecca, Francisco and Liana; and also, Antonio, Angelo, Elias, Javier, Robert, Wesley, Tyler, Clara, Breanna, Allie, Estraya, Tristina, Royce and Haylee.

“In all the many visits to Minnesota that I made with my late husband, Lyle, visiting with his cousin, Corrine, was always a high point. Corrine was fun to be with - she had such a sense of humor. I have so many good memories of her. I will miss talking to her on the phone. I will miss cards and notes from her. I send my sincere condolences to the families of her nieces and nephews.”
