He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Boelter and John Hennis; and his sons-in-law, Todd Ahlbrecht, Tim Farmer and Jim Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Boots Hennis (Rockwood) of Lewisville, MN; his children, Ben Hoppe (Karen) of Fairmont, MN and Marnie Ahlbrecht of Gibbon, MN; his granddaughters, Debra Farmer and Darla Brown of Texas; and his sister Lorraine Kelly of Mankato, MN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
