He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wirt and Maude Wirt (Beech); his sisters, Becky Walch (John) and Mary Alyce Walch (Roman); and his brothers-in-law, Lyle Campbell, Alan Campbell and Les Burgdorf.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Campbell; his children, Duane Wirt (Elizabeth), Dennis Wirt (Kim), Douglas Wirt (Glenda) and Kimberly Asche (Gary); his grandchildren, Kayte Haaland, Darrin, Karissa, Denton, Dustin Wirt, Bekki Flesner, Abigail Warmka, John, Andrew and Austin Asche; his great grandchildren, Claire, Ava Haaland, Mariah, Brekken, Lauren, Roselyn Wirt, Halle Jo, Dayton, Bently, Bella Wirt, Chloe Warmka, Madeline, David, Jacob Flessner, Aiden and Ellen Asche; and his sisters-in-law, Marian Burgdorf, Phyllis Ayen and Cathy Campbell. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
