He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Sutter (Schroeder) and Fred Sutter; his siblings, Virgil, Lotus (Jerry) and Glen; and his sister-in-law Nancy (Marge Wolfe).
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Nuttelman of West Salem; his daughters, Julie, Laurie and Cheryl; his grandchildren, Michael, Meghan (Ryan), Kate and Kevin; his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Jackson, Abraham and Lucas; his close friend Marge Wolfe; his brother Gerald Sutter; his sister-in-law Claire Sutter Schamberger; and his grandsons, Madelynn, Jackson, Roger, Ron and Bob Tullius. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gundersen Health System, St. Michael's Lutheran Sunday School and Cochrane-Fountain City School District for scholarships.
