It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Ann Werner (Lewiston, Minnesota), born in Independence, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Werner; her daughter Carol Jean; her parents, Martin Matchey and Ella Matchey; and her son-in-law Mike Jamieson.

Werner (Chris); her grandchildren, Brianna Sather (Ryan), Lance Schiltz (Stephanie), Drew Schiltz (Lindsay), Brad Brevig (Nicole), Eric Schiltz, Brendan Brevig (Shayde McKay), Jeremy Werner and Jordyn Werner; her great grandchildren, Trent, Makena Sather, Aria, Malcolm, Ryder Schiltz, William, Natalie, Maddison Schiltz, Lucas and Rylee Brevig; and her pet Josie Jo. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
