He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Hennessy and Anna Hennessy (Axness); his great-grandparent Patrick Hennessy; his former spouses, Rose Monahan and Beverly Kulas; his wife Mary Kennedy; his children, Sharon Chavez and Joseph Hennessy; his brother Michael Hennessy; his daughter-in-law Cindy Hennessy; his brother-in-law Joe Gilbert; and his grandson Justin Kukowski.
He is survived by: his stepson Michael Kulas (Wende); his children, Patrick Hennessy (Tracy Dougherty), Kathleen Hennessy Rehbein (Bob), Michael Hennessy (Karen), Brian Hennessy, Anne Hennessy, Maureen Schauble (Wayne), Jim Hennessy and Shannon Hennessy; his stepchildren, John Kennedy (Peggy), Bernie Kennedy (Karla), Patricia Stark (Richard), Jim Kennedy and Maureen Hurley (Mike); and his siblings, T. R. "Bob" Hennessy (Mitzie), Jerry Hennessy (Noreen) and Audrey Gilbert. He is also survived by 100 grandkids.
