We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2021, at the age of 98, Ardis Sylvern Helland of Lewiston, Minnesota, born in Joice, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Bang and Ada Bang (Nelson); her husband Amos Helland; her son Nelson; her siblings, Roger, Wayne Bang and Hazel Munson; and her great grandchild Xavier Meyer.
She is survived by: her son Lon Helland (Sue) of Eau Claire, WI; her daughter-in-law Carol Helland of Frederic, WI; her grandchildren, Lisa Meyer (Scott), Tony Harback (Melinda Jo Weber), Luke Helland (Mary Jo), Tim Helland (Andrea) and Luther Helland (La Ronda); and her brothers, Darrell Bang (Marilyn) and Darwin Bang (Thelma). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers but encourages memorials made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
