Allyn D. Ellinghuysen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allyn D. Ellinghuysen in Lewiston, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ellinghuysen and Gladys Ellinghuysen (Prigge); his wife Kathy; his parents-in-law, Rita Meier and Charles Meier; and his sister-in-law Terri Block.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Badenhorst (Johannes) of Lanesboro, MN, Emily McIntire (Pete) of St. Charles, MN, Jesse Ellinghuysen (Amy Doughty) of Spring Valley, WI and Lisa Rakstad (Brandon) of Winona; his grandchildren, Lilly, Paisley, Daniel, Kathryn, Sawyer and Bristol; and his sister Mary Feller of Watertown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (22577 County Rd 25, Lewiston, MN 55952). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
