He is survived by: his wife Marlys Prins; his children, Debra (Lloyd Albers), Darla Faber (Luverne), Scott Vander Maten (Dean Ottman), Steven (Lisa Vander Maten) and DeeAnn (Terry Jansma); his sister Linda Beyenhof; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Vander Maten of Corson, SD.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
