He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Koelewyn; his child Daryl Sas (Jane); his granddaughters, Kathryn and Megan Barber (Noah); his child Gayle Walhof (Duane); his grandchildren, Jesse Lee and Jamie Hettwer (Brady); his sister Marlene Walsh; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Sas, Lavonne Sas and Clares Christians. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
