She was predeceased by: her mother Maggie Hofkamp (Evink); her siblings, John Hofkamp and Lydia Westenberg; and her siblings-in-law, Willie, Johanna Kroontje, Marvin, Janice Kroontje, John, Rachel Kroontje, Bill and Katherine Vastenhout.
She is survived by: her husband Gerrit Kroontje; her children, Virgil Kroontje (Vickie) of Port Orchard, WA, Wayne Kroontje (Helen) of Leota, Orla Schuld (Dale) of Edgerton, Paula Griggs (Jeff) of Milo, IA, Warren Kroontje (Sharon) of Sioux Falls, SD, Bryan Kroontje (Astrid) of Grafenwöhr, Germany, Darla Ostheimer (Chuck) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lila Sudenga (Al Kasprowicz) of Luverne and Darin Kroontje (Michelle) of Sauk Centre, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Hofkamp, Dorothy Ricehill and Abe Westenberg. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
