He is survived by: his wife Deloris Lende Somdalen (Freyholtz); his children, Craig Lende (Jill), David Lende (Jody), Norman Lende (Shar), Steven Lende (Lona), Barbara Carr (Mike Adensam), Darrell Lende (Linda) and Shirley Erickson (Brad); his grandchildren, Nicole Smith (Jeremy), Dave Melby (Michelle), Alex Lende, Dylan Lende, Brittany Dorn (Tim), Amanda Paulson (Tyler), Abby Lende, Amber Erickson, Tyler Erickson and Heather Erickson; and his great grandchildren, Kai, Pyper, Ellie, Jamison, Kaitlyn, Emily, Aden, Sibyl and Raelynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery fund.
