He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph and Lydia; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Robert Gitz, Erma Black, Herman Gitz, Ervin Gitz, Ferdinand Gitz, Dorothy Plante and Lillian Abraham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
