Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lauretta Perkins of Le Sueur, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 99, on November 14, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hjalmer Johnson and Theadora Johnson (Scott); her husband Henry Perkins; her son Keith; her grandson Daniel; and her siblings, Ethylene Mueller (William), Izene Schultz (Reuben), Floyd Johnson (Vera) and Septer Johnson (Marcella).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Steckman, Darryl Perkins (Sharron), Roberta Perkins (Pam), Rick Perkins (Mary) and Sheila Perkins (Tim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great and 12 great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic, Lauretta was unable to fulfill a long-held plan of donating her physical remains to the Mayo Medical School for education and training purposes.
