It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Mears of Le Sueur, Minnesota, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Hobart Johnson and Minnie Johnson (Olson); her husband Virgil Mears; her grandson Jonathon Marschall Olson; and her sisters, Avis Mordini and Beryl Christiansen (Ollie).
She is survived by: her children, Merry Theis (Scott), Steve (Marlene) and Selves Olson (Sheila); her grandchildren, Noah, Josh (Allyson), Rachel Theis, Bethany Jaeger (Nick), Alyssa Elliot (Corey), Chris Olson (Sarah), Erin Jansen (Matthew) and Emily Musselman (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Calvin Jansen, Leo, Aubrey Musselman, Ryan Jaeger and Dylan Olson.
