He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hilton and Lela Hilton; and his stepfather Charles Buckingham. He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Webbink (Katy); his wife Katy Hilton; his son Bill Hilton (Carla) of Dexter; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Grace; his daughter Cynthia Lonergan (Dusty) of Rose Creek; and his siblings, Linda Svenson (Richard) of Decorah, Iowa, Laurie Hilton (Dana Huber) of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Leonard Hilton (Phyllis Mathis) of Plymouth, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
