He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Kopet and Dorothy Kopet (Pete); his brother Russell Kopet; and his sister-in-law Theresa Malinski. He is survived by: his wife Joanne "Annie" Kopet; his son Justin Kopet of Le Center; his siblings, Ron Kopet (Deb) of Le Center, Robbie Kopet (Jaci) of Cleveland and Brenda Kunkel (Curt) of Plymouth; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Kopet of Le Center, Jenny Russell (Dale) of Buffalo, Maureen Blaschko (Tim) of Le Center, Robert Malinski (Priscilla) of Le Center, Marty Malinski (Kim), John Malinski of Le Center and Brian Malinski of Le Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
