It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Lois Filipek (Le Center, Minnesota), born in Saint Peter, Minnesota, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Vollmer and Jesse Vollmer (Rapp); and her husband James Filipek. She is survived by: her children, Tim Filipek of Le Center, Amy Card (Jim) of Laporte, Tony Filipek (Erin) of Montgomery Nick, Jessa Ellingsworth (Steve) of Montgomery and Patrick Filipek (Shana) of Lonsdale; her grandchildren, Morgan, Josh Ziehl, Kyle, Kaitlin Ellingsworth, Madeline Bidne, Ashley Anvik, Kelsey Schernbeck and McKenzie Filipek; her great grandchildren, Soren, Braxton Schernbeck, Trenton and Ava Anvik; her great great grandchild Hadley Selly; and her sister Donna Vlasak (Donald "Froggy") of Montgomery. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
