She was predeceased by: her parents, August Meyer and Martha Meyer (Schultz); her husband George Hartwig; and her siblings, Milton Meyer, Elaine Stauff, Mildred Bohnsack, Valdeen Tuma and Fred Meyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Les Hartwig (Bonnie) of Le Center and Gary Hartwig (Jacque) of Le Center; her grandchildren, Ryan Hartwig (Jennifer), Chris Hartwig (Juli), Michelle Nelson-Raaen (David) and Adam Nelson; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carly, Cami, Fisher, Nora, Emmy Hartwig, Levi, Jamie Nelson and Cy Raaen; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Meyer of Montgomery and Elsie Rotter of New Prague.
