He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" and Marjorie Emmers (Kneefe); his brother Richard Emmers; and also Marlene. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Gostomczik; his sons, John Emmers (Roxanne) of Blaine and Bryan Emmers (Carrie) of Lonsdale; his grandchildren, Tim Emmers (Rochelle) of Good Thunder, Tracy Jacobsen of St. Peter, Caley Emmers of St. Louis Park and Jaden Emmers of Lonsdale; his stepgrandchildren, Nickole, Sheila and Kyle; his sister-in-law Mary Jean Foster; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Villwock, Dennis Foster, Jr. and Leslie. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
