He is survived by: his wife Susan Schmidt of Le Center; his daughters, Becky Meyer (Travis Hanson) of Waseca and Leanne Ruhland (Dan Neuhaus) of Winter Haven, FL.; and his siblings, John Schmidt (Cheryl), Elaine Randall (Dean) of Le Sueur, Ronald Schmidt (Karen) of Le Center, Rita Hastert (Rick) of Lakeville, William Schmidt (Marlene) of Apple Valley, David Schmidt (Deb) of Waterville, Norman Schmidt (Debbie) of Le Center and Theresa Lloyd of Jordan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
