He was predeceased by: his son Gary; his sister Norma Mager (Erkel) of Wes Erkel; and his mother Ella Erkel. He is survived by: his wife Muriel of Le Center; his sons, Allan Heidemann (Jean), Robert Heidemann (Claudia) and Brian Heidemann (Margie); and his siblings, Dorothy Koch, Char Erkel and Charles Erkel. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
