Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leonard DeWitt of Laporte, Minnesota, born in Cass Lake, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 11, 2020. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard DeWitt and Esther DeWitt; his wife Shirley Steele; his daughter Vicky Lynn; his siblings, June Oslin (DeWitt) and Robert (Dolly); his children, Deborah Thompson (Charles) of Walker, Leonard III of Akeley, Garrett (Brenda) of Brainerd, Mike (Angie) of Laporte and Steven of Akeley; and his sister Karen Henkel (Robert) of Bemidji. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, five nieces, six nephews, numerous great nieces, and nephews.
