He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess and Reda; his son Eric McElmury; his sisters, Mahada and Winnie; and his pet Sam.
He is survived by: his former wives, Sue Schreiner and Diane Olson; his son Brian McElmury (Ann) of Kasson, MN; his stepchildren, David McCall (Jenny) and Christine McCall of Mesa, Arizona; his grandchildren, Samantha and Alexander McElmury of Kasson, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Alexander, Andrew, Elizabeth, Vayden and Scarlet McCall of Mesa, AZ; and his brothers, Mike (Sue), Tim (Sherrie), Jeff (Judy) and Scott (Sondra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
