He is survived by: his former wife Sonja Flaby; his children, Greg Thoen (Mary) of Pepin, WI, Heather Rutzick (Adam) of Rosemount, MN and Mike Thoen (Mahr); his grandchildren, Nicolas Thoen, James Thoen, Sophia Thoen, Grace Thoen, Bennett Rutzick, Sarah Rutzick, Jacob Rutzick, Brooke Thoen, Tyler Thoen, Ian Carleton (Mandi) and Jane Carleton; his great grandchildren, Hazen Carleton and Emma Carleton; his siblings, Richard Thoen (Lisa) of Harmony, MN and Sandy Morris (Dick) of Holmen, WI; and his aunt Shirley Brown of Rochester, MN..
