He was predeceased by: his aunt Kate Gathje (Jeff). He is survived by: his parents, Alan Gathje and Rochelle Gathje (Drier); his siblings, Alyssa and Jake; his grandparents, Ron, Winnie Gathje, David and Brenda Drier; his aunts and uncles, Bob, Cindy Gathje, Michele Gathje, Jeff Gathje, Sheila (Drier), Don Glaske, Eric, Diane Drier, Chad, Amy Drier, Amanda (Drier) and Mike Reisner; and his cousins, Zachary Gathje, Dane, Drew Glaske, Alexis, Elijah, Abby Drier, Keira, Elsa Drier, Alaina and Keegen Reisner.

In lieu of flowers memorials will go towards a charity in Joe's name.
