It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Halvorson of Lanesboro, Minnesota, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Peterson and Doris Peterson (Soiney); her husband Jerome Halvorson; her brothers, Lyle and LuVerne Peterson; and her sister-in-law Rita Peterson.
She is survived by: her son Jerome Jr. Halvorson (Kim) of Lanesboro; her granddaughter Kiah Halvorson of Harmony; her brother Dale Peterson (Sue) of Lanesboro; and her brother-in-law Johnny Halvorson of Whalan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 11 a. m. at Whalan Lutheran Church in Whalan, with burial to follow. Social distancing and wearing a mask will be expected.
