He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Joseph Haefel (Donna) and Mary Josephine Kanz (Francis Lappier); and his in-law Edward Ellison (Marie). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marie Ellison; his children, Jodi Halverson, Shannon Olson (David), Heather Jones (DaRoss) and Sean Haefel (Teddy Haviland); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Schank (Nick), Brody Halverson (Ally Hilker), Jordyn Halverson, Breilynn Halverson, Landen Halverson, Caitlin Lanter (Noah), Hailey Olson, Jada Jones and Trey Jones; his great grandchildren, Weston and Brantley Schank; his siblings, Bobby Haefel (Mary Lou) and Arlene Libera (Steve); and his sister-in-law Rose Anderson Landsman. He is also survived by eight nieces and one nephew; and eight grand dogs.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoff Celebration.
