It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Olson (Lanesboro, Minnesota), born in Newton, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Smith and Tudie Smith (Brunson); her husband Millerd Olson; and her son Jerry. She is survived by: her son Leslie; her grandchildren, Lee Olson (Kelly), Michelle Kohner (Shawn), Angie Stienfeldt (Travis) and Jessica Olson; her great grandchildren, Griffin, Reese Olson, Brandin Habeck, Madeline, Elanna, Cale Kohner, Ashley Puig, Miranda Tidwell and Cameron Stienfeldt; and her siblings, James Melton and Martha Gayles.
