He is survived by: his wife Laurie Sheely; his children, Jeremie and Meghan; his siblings, Steve (Susan), Debbie (Rick Wieczoreck), Tammy (Gus Zuniga), Kristy (Warren Steinfeldt) and Jerry (Sydney Egland); his close friend Evelyn Klungvedt; and his pet Gunner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
