He was predeceased by: his parents, Anhilm Peterson and Myrtle Peterson; his son Richard Peterson; and his siblings, Maitland, Florence Westerberg, Delores Lyberg and Marlene Wallenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carroll; his children, Cathy Kujawa (Jerome) of Argyle, MN, Paul Peterson, Robert Peterson (Julie), Jeanine Aaron (Carl) and Peyton of Colorado; and his siblings, Ronald Peterson (Mary) of Deer River, MN and Arlyce Murray of San Jose, CA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
