He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Peterson; and his wife Jeanne Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Ann Peterson (Sjostrand); his former wife Catherine Jeanne Lindstrom; his close friend Milly Fletcher; his daughters, Laura Mergen (Jeff), Lu Ann Verduzco (Jeremy L'Allier) and Trinetta Gerdes (Nate); his grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Ethan, Macie and Jayse; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Kinsley, Grayson, Hudson, Elias and Ezequiel; and his siblings, Marcia Tyma (Wally) and Jim Peterson (Kate).
