He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arndt and Iona Arndt (Karow); his wife Marilyn; his sons, Kurt Arndt and Rick Arndt; and his siblings, Geraldine Lillehaug (Harold), Eileen Grommesch (Paul), Jack Arndt (Lelia) and Delores Kashmark (Eugene).
He is survived by: his children, Gregg Arndt, Carrie Arndt, Colleen Jacobsen (Bryan) and David Arndt; his daughter-in-law Kelly Arndt; his grandchildren, Megan Watercott (Mike), Molly Arndt, Logan Arndt, Lucas Matzke (Katie), Alix Schwindt (Dillon), Jared Matzke (Anna), Tayler Budenski (Jacob), Gracie Jacobsen, Katelyn Froehling (Jimmy) and Cole Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Henry and Eleanor Watercott; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Warren Matzke and Nolan Schwindt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
