He is survived by: his children, Kent Engen of Storden, Diane Determan (Kevin) of Jeffers, Laurie Meidl (Pete) of Prior Lake and Michele Thordson (David) of Lamberton; his grandchildren, Angel Uribe (Chris Schmahl), Joslyn Nelson (Jimmy Richard), Jacob Meidl (Nicole), Sam Meidl (Sammy), Matt Meidl (Molly), Tommy Meidl, Mariah Determan and Ryan Determan; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Josh Knutson, Chloe, Joey Nelson, Isabel, Victoria and Eleanor Meidl; his brother Richard Engen of Lamberton; and his sister-in-law Sandra Cutler of Maple Grove.
