He is survived by: his children, Catherine Halter (Thomas) and Kenneth Engen; his granddaughter Stephanie Kurtz; his great grandchild David Kurtz III; his granddaughter Brianna Peterson (Kyle); and his great grandchild Madisyn Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
