He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wendland and Ida Wendland (Matzke); his wife Margie Rae Marben; his son Brooks; and his siblings, Elmer, Erwin, Edwin, Rueben, Leonard (Bud), Vernon, Emma Wolf, Elde Wendland, Edna Culbert, Lydia Abbott and Ione Knoll.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbi of Costa Mesa, CA and Robin Hulke (Darold) of Eagan; his granddaughters, Jennifer Wollan (Tom) and Jessica Knutson (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Paige, Ford, Blake and Paul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
