He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Hansen and Mary Hansen; his daughter Barb Cordes; and his siblings, Norman, Doug Hansen and Barb Turnquist.

He is survived by: his wife Eloda; his children, Jeff Hansen, Laurie Ziegler (Mike), Jaki Bremer, James Yule (Pam Platt) and Brenda Stickler (Greg); his son-in-law John Cordes; his grandchildren, Blaec, Ashley, Chelsea, Griffin, Eric, Nick, Bre, Melissa, Katie and Alex; and his sister-in-law Char Hansen. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
