She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Greg Thornton (Barb) and Ruth Ann Kuzniar (Tom); and her grandchildren, Kelli Thornton-Varley, Jessi Risch (Eric), Mike Kuzniar (Hannah), Joe Kuzniar (Catherine) and Tim Kuzniar (Maria). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family preferred.
