He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Darold Olberg. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Van Dyne (Steve), Becky Schultze (Chris) and Matt Ebbighausen (Katie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Paige, Alexa, Riley, Camden, Eli, Grace, Tyler, Hanna and Eve; his siblings, Ron Ebbighausen (Annette), Francine Olberg and Duane Ebbighausen (Cindy); and his wife Kathy.
