He was predeceased by: his son Michael; his parents, Michael Walter and Emma Walter; and his siblings, Lucille Uchanski (Ed), Larry Walter, Janet Burdorf (Wilbur) and Marion Lentz (Leigh).
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Julie Freeborn, Jeffrey Walter and Matthew Walter (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Sloan Freeborn, Nick and Ben Walter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
