He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Augspurger of Pulaski, IA; his parents, Cleo and Lela; his brother Donald Payne; his son-in-law Charlie Wifler; and his grandson Nicolas Payne.
He is survived by: his sisters, Donna and Dianne; his grandchildren, Brad Wifler (Lindy), Mike Wifler (Laura), Kyle Wifler (Thuy), Justin Payne (Nicole), Dan Payne (Jordan), Kellie Payne, Tiffany Payne, Josh Payne (Erin), Connor Payne (Kate), Scott Payne (Steph), Logan Payne, Ashley Anfinson (Rob) and Paige Hanson (Karl); and his children, Vicki Brace (Scott), Brian Payne (Janie), Marc Payne (Karen) and Brent Payne (Renee). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
