With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol J. Bethune of Lakeville, Minnesota, born in Tilden, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schutt and Ella Schutt (Miller); and her siblings, Elsie Walter (Art), Evelyn Schmidt (Edwin), Alvin Schutt (Lois) and Marvin Schutt (Eleanor).
She is survived by: her husband Duane Bethune of Chaska; her children, Brian Bethune (Michael Bargas) of Lakeville and Gail Voller (Kevin) of Clyde Park, MT; her grandchildren, Adam Cozine (Kelly), Nicole Cozine, Danielle Cozine and Connor Cozine (Emma); and her great grandchildren, Nadine Farag, Charlotte Cozine, Colton Cozine, Kailer Cozine, Dane Curran and Cole Curran. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (23290 MN-7, Excelsior, MN 55331). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum or Our Savior Lutheran Church in Excelsior, MN.
